MO gives us this tip after
contemplating how he was going to get to his expired fuel pump located
in the top of the gas tank of his pick-em-up truck.
After crawling under the truck
and looking at what was involved in dropping his gas tank to get to
the fuel pump, he decided there was a better way.
Using an engine hoist, he unbolted the
truck bed and lifted it off of the frame, exposing the readily
accessible fuel pump. Moments later he had the old pump out and
the new one in. Bolt the bed back down and shazzam. Easy
as pie (the frozen kind). Thanks for the tip MO.
