The Titan Gun Vault is a simple, compact, reliable and secure pistol safe, which is easy to mount and dismount on its docking station, with the use of a lock arm from inside of the vault, as well as providing quick access to your weapon. It can be installed in a variety of places such as under your bed, under your desk, in your closet or in your vehicle. The patented design (Patent Number 7299667) with harden 14 GA steel, built-in holster and lift mechanism provides quick access to the weapon. Under emergency conditions, upon opening the lid or cover door the weapon will move up above the opening and into position for easy access. It will accommodate revolvers and pistols whose dimensions do not exceed 10" long x 6.5" high x 2.25" wide. The unique docking station or mounting mechanism and brackets allow versatility and comfort in its mobility or stationary use. This feature will allow you securely transport your weapon to your vehicle, shooting range, hunting and many more places. The mounting brackets (docking stations) will secure to a permanent location in your home or your vehicle or place of business. The finish is black powder coat scratch and weather resistant. It measures 11" L x 8" W x 2½ H, and only weighs 10-lb. requires 3-1/2" head clearance for installation under any objects.

The only complaint I have about this safe is that if you need to adjust the holster inside, it's cramped and hard to get to the nuts that hold it in place. With that out of the way, I love this safe. Was very easy to mount, very easy to set the combination, and is so easy to use. I mounted it to the backside of the headboard of the bed so I can reach around to get to it, and can open it without seeing the buttons. I love that the pistol slides out as you open it, and I also love the extra magazine safe that you can add. I looked at many safes before buying this one, and have not regretted it one bit.

Awesome! Fast reliable access to a loaded weapon in total darkness. Another thing I like is I can do administrative loads and unloads with out removing the pistol from the holster. Had to modify the holster a bit to fit my M&P40 with light. With a horizontal side mount it is sometimes a little clumsy to close but it always opens smoothly. This is THE BEST home defense safe unless you want to keep your pistol in a drawer then check out the v-line Top Draw it uses the same lock.

To take out the holster for adjustment just remove the 5/16 hex screw on the pivot arm then you pullout holster assembly for adjustments, it took me two minutes. Excellent product, Job well done.
