Description: Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain Tire
Toyo recently introduced its newest tire, the Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain (M/T) radial. While this tire isn't the traditional hardcore rockcrawling or extreme mud tire; it will survive the toughest backcountry challenges and perform well. The targeted market for the Open Country is those who need a comfortable, quiet, well mannered daily driven Mud Terrain tire that works as a weekend warrior on moderate to tough terrain, tackling serious trails. To accommodate a wide range of buyers, the Open Country M/T was packed with technology to make it capable of handling severe heat and frequently changing loads. It has an aggressive tread for traction and good looks, deep siping and an open-shoulder design for improved grip, and tread-block stabilizers. The tire uses a three-ply polyester casing, two wide steel belts, and two spiral-wound nylon cap plies, all of which make handling comfortable and predictable, on dirt or asphalt. In addition to its durable construction, the Open Country M/T uses an abrasion-resistant compound in the sidewall, shielding its most vulnerable area. This tire has an excellent load rating, possibly the highest available in a mud terrain: the 38x15.50x18LT tire has a 128 rating, meaning it can handle up to 3960 pounds per tire. It's also capable of a 99-mph top speed.

Pros: great mud tire
Cons: tend to wear fast

im runnin 315/75R16 with a 6in fabtech lift on my 1999 f-350 diesel dually n they are quiet tires that run well in the mud for such a heavy truck and look mad aggressive, my only con with them is that they wear pretty quick..i rotate them every 5k miles...people complain about the price but i feel it is fair for such an amazing product...if the price is so bad go for a cheaper tire n stop complaining

Pros: Look Good/Fashionable
Cons: Mileage N Costs

I just got my Set of 33/12.5R20 and they smelled of Fresh rubber for a month! Here in Idaho Land these tires are cool and fashionable on Big Trucks that never really go to dirt anyway. I have these pretty much cause they look cool.

Pros: Great all around tire
Cons: None yet

This is a great all arond tire. Have them on an 08 Jeep Wrangler and they have performed very well. Tire is surprisingly quiet for a mud tire and they are very good in wet weather conditions. I would recommend these tires to anyone who wants a performer but also a tire that doesn't belong on a tractor.

Pros: I would say everything!!
Cons: nothing

I have a 2002 ford excursion with 8"lift, with 37x13.50R17's and it's been the best tire i have owned EVER!!! I've been frame deep in snow, cruised right out, loose dirt 45 degree hill's no prob, mud axle deep was fun but they did the job. Just remember the main thing to do is ROTATE THEM!!! and they will last, I have 10,000mi and they still look brand new (even the molding tags are still there). I rotate them every 3,000 mi. Wet streets are good, but they will break loose if you punch it, but what tire doesn't, and dry streets are great. You get what you pay for and I would buy again.

Pros: Looks good, quiet, throws the mud, comes in an E
Cons: Wears fast with a cummins under em

I bought 35 x 12.50 x 18's for my 06 dodge ram 2500 cummins, my truck weaighs in at 7500lbs. they are wearing great and they clean well until ya get into some clay. The price is high but well worth the extra cash. Either pay for quality or pay for crap. Your decision i made mine and i love em

Pros: Traction, Looks, Long lasting
Cons: Expensive

50,000 miles and ready to be replaced. I have a 2006 Chevy Crew Cab Duramax Long Bed. These tires work well off road and on road. They do really well in the snow and rain. keep them balanced and rotated and you will be very happy for a long time. Nice and quiet on the highway for an aggressive M/T tire. I have had BFG, Goodyear, and Super Swampers and the Toyo M/T are the best all around.

Pros: SIDE WALL PROTECTION
Cons: LOAD RANGE E TO STIFF

I have 33x11.5x16 on my 04 Rubicon run at 19 psi every day and they where even, off road 8psi, very impressed with traction they never slip my friends cant believe the traction on rock just dont like the stiffness of the tire on the street or wash board road next tire 34x11.5 they might not be as stiff what do you think
