I purchased my RMDL240 about one year ago, I was very impressed with the performance. Then, I purchased an HID conversion kit from off-roadlights.com. Wow, right it doubled my light!!!!

Just read your artical on the lightforce 170. Awsome lights aren't they! Here in oz i've got a nissan patrol with the 240 blitz's in the center of the bull bar with the blue covers, 1 spot,1 combo and the 170 strikers sitting on the top of the bar. these would have to be the most durable lights i have ever used. i have slid down muddie slopes and taken out trees, lights didn't break. hit kangaroos at 100 km hour, had to get out and aim the lights so the didn't point at the stars but still no breaks! The best lights in the world. oh, the 240's light up to 1.5 kms.
Brilliant!!

I have a pair of these fitted to my 60 series and they are sick. They look as cool as and throw an incredible beam of light. I regularly drive long distances, at night through Kangaroo and Emu infested countryside (have had a few encounters of the roadkill kind) and have never so much as scratched a cover.
I have the blue spot covers fitted which seems to make the light output a little whiter and I also have a set of he 140 lance models fitted with the blue spread filters and between the two, this is a great combination of long distance and roadside illumination.
Must have accessory

I love my Lightforce 240's. I think the Lightforce lights are the best lights out there. I hit a deer (a big Doe) with my old truck. My 240's were sticking out there on some cheap bracket I fabbed up in a pinch to get them on. I hit the deer at 45 mph and broke its back legs. Local police had to shoot the thing to put it out of it's misery. The impact pushed the lights back into my grill and broke the grill but zero damage to the Lights. The bracket was mangled. Light output is great, far beyond others that I've had. I am sold on them! The adjustments are great, lens color selection is cool and useful. I like the yellow, which are great in fog. As for strength, they are very strong! Better then any glass lens I have had before. I've used over the years, KC, Hella, and several cheap auto parts bought crap. No more.

Had a set of 240's on my Hummer, Traded H2 for Tundra, "Gas and Speed". Now trying to figure out which set for tundra. Have room for 4 lights on light bar, I want wide and long range.
