When you buy and A/T tire, you should be purchasing more for a road tire than a M/T. I love these tires. I am about to swap to a M/T for nothing more than the experience. I have had these tires in all kinds of offroad conditions and they have worked well. I have 80,000 miles on the set so I surely can't complain. I did get stuck last weekend in some pretty bad Alabama mud. The tread is really worn and I am looking to get new tires soon - so I guess getting stuck made my mind up for me. You really can't go wrong with this tire for an every day driver. BFG has made a fortune on this tire and rightly so. I am just hoping to get half the mileage from a M/T as I have on these.

I think these tire suck and are over rated have less that 30,000 on them and have to replace them for uneven wearing, they are noisy and vibrated very badly.....
These tires were on a 03 yota taco. Got 12K before they were so cuped from being unable to balance I had to take off. They wore VERY fast.I rotated every 2k, allignment twice and never could balance correctly. The truck was all over the road over 50mph but decent off road.... however they tend to gumb up

I chose this tire instead of an AT for occasional offroad use on my TJ. I've got a year and a half out of these with no punctures in the woods yet but my jeep is real light. Those with heavier vehicles might want to be more cautious with these as the sidewalls look like sharp rocks could do them in. In dry dirt, woods, rocks they perform excellent at low pressure. In the creek with sand and pea gravels they are fair. Mud they clog up bad. I think thats due to the isolated cleats on this tire. Snow excellent. This is more of an artic tire IMO. You gotta redline to unclog these things though. Ride quality is very good. Theyre not too loud, about as much as any MT. I'd recommend this tire for light trucks, toyotas or jeeps but I wouldnt if youre going to be in a lot of mud without a winch or locker.

I have a set of 305-70R-16 on my 97 K1500, I have put about 26,000 miles on them and they are a little less than half worn. These are a great tire in mud, rain, sand, and snow and they do ok on ice. When I wear this set out Ill buy another set.

I've been running these tires on my GM3/4 ton for over 2 years with lots of highway driving and loads of backroad exploring, consisting of fresh blast rock logging roads, the occasioanl Trail, mud, wet/dry rock Snow and even some sand. also tow a heavy trail rig and trailer with these and they don't wander or walk on the rims at all, Best tire I've ever owned hands down. My only complaint is they don't come larger than a 33" if they did I'd be buying them again and again.
