Review of the BF Goodrich® All-Terrain T/A® KO
As with the BFGoodrich ® Mud-Terrain T/A® KM the BFGoodrich ® All-Terrain T/A® KO is an extremely popular tire of choice for many 4wheelers who want decent off-road performance while maintaining good street performance.  This radial AT with its highly siped semi-aggressive tread pattern and 3-ply sidewalls it is a good choice for all-around use including dry loose dirt, light mud, sand, and light to moderate rock crawling.  While not as aggressive as its Mud Terrain counterpart, this tire is a good performer in its class making it a very popular choice as an OEM tire with Ford, General Motors, Toyota and Daimler-Chrysler.   As with BFG's other tires, the BFG All Terrain T/A KO has exceptional wear qualities with a longer wear factor on the trail and on the street over most All Terrain tires on the market.  are somewhat vulnerable to sharp rocks.  Sizes available up to 37x12.50R18/D.

I have these on my Toyota Tacoma.  Been to the Pine Barrens of New Jersey many times where's sandy and muddy.  The tires have always done great.  Deep mud they're not as good but on the trails I air down a little, to about 15 psi and they get good grip.  Been to Paragon a few times and did some moderate rock crawling.  The BFGs did well there too.  They got scuffed up a bit but no problems.  Good tire, no complains.

Very good on snow and Ice and Gravel. The nearest town to me is 300 km of gravel away. I probably put over 2000km of gravel on my tires/year. Starting to see wear but have not had a blow out or a flat tire from a rock yet.

Very Quite Tire, cant beat it. This tire works very well on the mountain trails here. Unless it rains then you will the tire doesnt self clean and you will slide everywhere. Very Dangerous on sloped muddy trails with drop offs. Super tire on road and dirt... leave the mud for a mud tire.

This was the worst tire. On the road it was the better than my streets, but anywhere else, I was either getting stuck, sliding around, clogging up the tire. Don't buy.

Rating  Key - The star rating keys are specific to the terrain being rated in the review.  To the Top
Don't even consider it if this is your main terrain. This tire will not perform well at all in this terrain.

Its trying but not doing too well.  You'd be better off choosing another for this terrain.

Average.  Its doing ok, not great but its holding its own.  A decent choice if you're compromising.

This tire does very well in this terrain but its not the best tire available however still a very good choice.

This tire performs exceptionally well in this terrain.  Among the best suited for this terrain.

Size Availability - This is a one to three thumbs up snapshot rating where one mean poor selection, two means ok and three means great.  Check with suppliers or manufacturers for actual available sizes.  While this rating system is vague, we couldn't possibly list all available sizes with size selection changing over time.  Please see manufacturer for list of sizes in production.

Money Bags - This is an average cost scale based on an averaged advertised cost of this tire when compared to other tires.  One money bag represents the tire is typically one of the cheapest available while 5 money bags indicates that this tire is one of the most expensive.  Averages are based on the tires reviewed.
