I bought my 98 xcab silverado with these already on it. (3 inch lift & 285/75R16). I'll say that these are the softest tires I've ever seen. Chunks have been taken out of side lugs on rocks and they are cracking like crazy. Just waiting for my blowout on the highway. I'm at about 5% tread and I bought the truck a year ago with the tires at about 25% tread. They definately harden with age, but with that comes the cracks. My next set will be Mastercraft Courser M/T. Had them on my old truck and were all around amazing. I'd recommend the procomps to anyone with a sand buggy but not for a daily driver at all.

265/75R16. Awesome dry road tire. The LTX AT rolls smoothly and you'll get tons of miles out of it (1.5x a BFG AT or Revo). Easy to break the tires loose w/ gas on wet roads. They definitely do NOT inspire confidence in snow and ice. Low void space causes the tire to pack up easily.

If you've got a DD consider these tires. Especially if you can afford a road set and an off-road set.

I live in Canada so ive tried this thing in every possible weather and did not experience any falliours. I've had it for over a year and I regularly use it to inflate tires and I cant complain.I have not use the air as much this winter, last week I wanted to air up my tires. After ingaging the air on the winch I notice it was making a un usual sound. The air rerservoir had fill up with water (condensation not sure) after pulling the drane valve a few times yhe water escaped and every thing was back to normal. Its been running fine ever since

in 1975 my dad seen a set of gumbows at the louisana state fair and liked the way thay iooked so he ordered four 35 tryed them and liked them. my dad ran a tire shop over hear in east texas so he got hooked up with gateway and stocked 4 of ever size from h/78/15-38/15.5/15. every time a new tire would come out he would try them but allways came back to gumbow. 23 years i was working at a tire shop and had access to all the tires a boy could wount i would try firestones brigstone cooper centinial remmington swomper watever i could get my hands on the most disappointed ive ever ben was with a set of 36/?/16.5 boggers on 10 inch wills i put them on sat. after work sunday after noon i had my QR/78/15 buck shots back on i later lifted my truck more and put a set of 40/17/15 gumbow monster mudders on 14/15 inch whills and havent tried a tire that will go like the old still gumbow or buck shots i now have my dad's 77 sort bed stelpsid chevy with the 40's i got in 97. note thay ben on road very little sence the first of 2000. Ps. i rated it a 9 because in cold wether thay will flat spot but after thay get warmed up there fine. THE TRICK TO BALANCING THESE AND OTHER BIASTED TIRES IS TO DRIVE THEM 5-10 MILES TO WARM THEM BEFORE THE DEALER BALANCES YOUR TIRES. Try it you will have less bounce then taking a cold tire and balancing it.

27,000 miles and still half tread on a 04' Frontier! Last a long time compared to other mud tires, not the best on icy roads, but you cant expect that out of a mud tire, i live in wisconsin so i experience every condition possible, they work great!!!

i run 38.5*14.5 on my 68 chevy with 11 inches of lift. i put it to the doors in red georgia clay and pull out in 4wd. the way i see it, compared to a bogger you give some forward traction away for the lateral stability so you dont slide sideways. if ur running flat terrain 24/7 then get a bogger. but if you get on a hill sideways youll slide like ski's. boggers are built like

I went thru a mud hole with my 295/70/16 terra grapplers on my 99 f150 and actually outperformed a boy who had 36 inch tsl radials on a 03 Chevy Colorado. Look nice and the tread cleans out perfectly. Love this tire
