Reciently put these 265/75R16's on my 2008 Nissan Frontier. I can't hear any difference in road noise from the BFG Long Trails I had on there but I can definitly feel the difference. They hug the road like stripes on a zebra. I don't understand how people can put mud as a con of the tire. If people are driving through mud pits they should have a M/T tire not an A/T. However...I have driven out in one of our fields (soft wet dirt/mud under the dirt). Got the the end of the field and stopped before I started to spin some tires. Kicked the truck into 4 Hi and it pulled out without any issues. Left about a 6 in rut but left me optimistic about the tire's capabilities.

i love these tires , i have a set of 31x10.50R15LT's on my 97 Ford Ranger 4x4 , paid $99 per tire , these tires cleran well and have only failed on me twice , and bothe times were when i went a little out of my league with them , i have handled snow 2 and 3 feet deep with them with no problem , ice was never a problem , and they are great in the mud , drove 3000 miles to florida and bad and she went straight and smooth down the road , i have yet to lose grip in the rain or snow or on ice , i will buy these over and over again

Amazed at the number of people who say this tire is bad in mud or snow. I agree with some other posters that this tire does very well in mud for an A/T. I've had the tire on a 2003 Chevy ZR2 4x4 (2nd set of these on this vehicle and third I have owned) since I bought the truck new (70K now), and put these tires through everything. I've come close to getting stuck twice, once when I stuck the front end in a mud hole at the bottom of a hill and had to back out, and once when I had snow over my front bumper and had to stop, and back out in reverse, because a truck coming the other way down the road got stuck. Both times I had a lot of spinning but eventually the tires got down to where they had traction and got me out. I've been in fairly deep mud, snow, and rain and watched the tires shed everything, usually a few feet over the top of the vehicle. Driven a lot on gravel too. I can slide the back end out on mud, but it never feels out of control. I'm sure they aren't as good as a pure off-road tire, but as far as an A/T I've never been happier with any other tire. I've tried other A/T's and every time I've regretted it!

I got talked into purchasing these tyres (New Zealand made) after having an exceptional run out of the old Firestone Firehawk RV tyres of 100,000km or 62,0000miles. I was told the Destinations would give a smoother ride, be more fuel efficient and quieter and give even more mileage. The destinations failed on all four points. I had a wheel alignment done then checked my tyre pressures every week and rotated tyres every 5000km. At 40,000km or 25,000 miles the tyres were worn out and this was even wear right across the face of the tyre. I contacted Firestones customer service the Firestone dealer who I bought the tyres from and he agreed that there was nothing wrong with the way the vehicle was set up and that the wear was even. I was also told by two other independant Firestone tyre shops off the record that there was a problem in getting mileage out of those tyres. I contacted Firestones customer service who denied there was a problem and blamed my driving style. I decided not to buy anymore Firestone products and replaced the tyres with the Dunlop Grandtrek AT2 and once again got 100,000km and as I said the Destination's were no smoother, quieter, more fuel efficient or gave better mileage than the other tyres I had used.

shipped mine to Dodgem at DM CB Radio Products and he did a complete peak and tune and now it's got 120 channels. It's a great small radio, just like the Cobra 25, well built, and is super loud with excellent receive gain too.

I bought these tires for my 2009 Z71. I have 275 65R18's. i wanted a 10 ply tire but am satisfied with the 8. So far I have about 9K on them and tehy are wearing alittle faster than i was wanting them to. I have a set of Summit Mud dawgs on a 94 suburban that I have about 52K on and I am pretty sure I wont get that out of these but if i get 35K, I will be happy. Most of my driving is on paved roads, i just wanted something to get me thru the field when needed.
Overall they are a good tire. I have driven them thru 3 snow storms and they have done well with no traction problems yet. I have pulled 3 people out of the ditch in the snow, one was a HHR that was in park cause we couldn't find anywhere to hook to so we wrapped the strap thru the wheel. I have been in any really deep mud but have had the sidewalls covered and tehy did well. Takes alittle more wheel spin to clear than the Mud Dawgs but the will clean out. There could be more sipping but it is what it is. If these tires were junk, they wouldnt have been around for as long as they have. I might put a set back on, tread life and the price next time will be what will determine that.
