I ran Maxxis Bighorns for over a year and they did fine. UNTIL, I put these thing on the Samurai. Now I have to watch it or it will climb things maybe I should not. Also, I recently opened the little grooves to 3/8 wide and now it is like a knobby on a motorcycle. Barnes Tire in Jasper, Tennessee, 423-942-9411 sell them, I bought mine there.
I have 33x1050.16's on my 08 H3 and love them. Have just over 3,000 miles on them. I really haven't been off roading yet, just to the beach and the do perform well in the sand. Would recommend them to anyone wanting a tough looking tire.

i am the original owner of a 1979 silver anniversary i purchased in tempe arizona june 21 1979. i had just turned 22 and blown a 428 cobra that was installed in my 76 ford 1/2 truck! i was looking for something to feed my out of control youth! i pulled into Apache Amc Jeep and flurted with the ideal of burning a whole in my pocket when a saleman told me this demo jeep was totally loaded and if anything i would never loose a penny on this deal! he claimed, "if anything youll make money on this baby"! 30+ years later-i would never give it up. i did in fact burn both axels, cracked the frame from flying off cliffs into the water and tearing up atv trails at sugarloaf! i was a regular "dukes of hazard" with this baby. i loved it!!! all i can say is.....GET A JEEP! it's the best thing for a wild soul! and the chicks dig it too! At that time this dealer told me that nearly 70% of jeeps were owned by women... i dont know about that but i never drove a trail that i hadnt seen a large number of women driving jeeps. i am a proud jeep owner! love it! this jeep shown here is an excellent example of a 1979 SILVER ANNIVERSARY! buy it if you can

Great looking tire, but I cannot get these things to balance. There is a significant side to side wobble between 42-57 mph. I threw some other tires on and it disappeared, so its definitely the tires. You can see them wobble a full inch on the Roadmaster balancer. I won't buy them again.

I drive a 96 3/4 ton 4wd Chevy with LT265/75R16 Load range E Mastercraft Coursers.
Well as a highway tire it howls unmercifully. My set has about 40k on them and they have noticeable wear on them. I had to replace one of them, because it developed a bubble with 11/32 tread on it. As a mud tire in my pasture they cake up quick, and when you get on the road they clean quickly throwing rocks and other debris all over my nice paint. On the plus side I have never gotten stuck in my pasture. They wear funny and did I mention they howl.

I have 35x12.5x18 Toyos on my 2002 Dodge Ram Diesel and after 20K miles these tires are less than half tread. They are a great all around tire. to well in mud road snow and sand! defiantly worth the money!
