I have a 2008 Chevy silverado with 315 grapplers on it and a 2 inch leveling kit on the front. I'd like to move up to 37 or 38 in grapplers but am curious how much more I'd need to lift my truck to fit these in without much rub when turning??Anyone out there have any input? joshyostsc@yahoo.com thanks

I love kentuck. it has a little bit of everything. You can't beat it for 5 bucks a day. I like to ride pretty fast so it is really a rush. kinda crowded on the weekends but if you go during the week you might have the whole park to yourself.

I have run other types of mud terrain tires in the past( Goodyear, Dick Cepeks, and most recently BF Goodrich M/T KO) These tires are comparable to the BFG's, but less expensive. I have a 2005 Dodge 2500 w/ the Cummins HO. These tires have just over 10,000 miles on them, and still have plenty of tread. I expect to get another 10,000 miles before I buy another set. Love the off road capability and the 10 ply and they clean out well in the mud.

My dad and I had a set of these on our international scout for a few years until we sold it. They did not perform well offroad and we ended up getting stuck in everything short of dry pavement. I wouldn't recommend these tires to anyone.

I think these tires are extremely OVER RATED. I may sound a bit hypocrytical but here it goes:
They lasted 180,000 kms (112500 miles) on my midsized SUV (Nissan Xterra) which they were on for 4 years. The have gret shoulder lugs allowing you to steer in the mud but they don't clean worth a damn... To be completely honest, I started wishing after the second year that they would just wear out. I sold them with about 30+% left on them for $200. I wouldn't by them again but as long as you don't see a lot of ice I would recommend them.

I was initially worried that they were going to wear out in the first couple of months but they wore about 10-15% in the first 10000-15000 kms then they seem to have settled in. These replaced a set of BFG AT's which I got 180000 kms out of even though they had no traction in any conditions past 30% wear....especially on ice.
The Terra Trac's were great on ice this past winter. I currently have 25000kms on them (15600 miles) and don't regret buying them. I'll re-post each year until they are done.
They are mounted on a 2005 Nissan Xterra SE so they are not really subjected to much weight or the torque of a diesel.

The pros are theese tires are great. If you want a big mudder than buy one. if not these are the tires to get. I have a 2001 F250 super duty 4X4 super cab. It had Cooper 265 75 16 junk on when I bought it. Now it has 315 75 16 Kumho's. I got these tires and no shit, 3 days later we got that record setting snow fall of 35+ inches. I plow snow and had NO problems any where. I was pulling cars and trucks out of the snow left and right 4x4's lifted, BFG's, Dunlops, you name it THEY were stuck. NOT me! The road noise doesen't bother me. (minimal) wet traction, Awesome. I don't know what some of these other reviews are about saying the tires suck??? Maybe its the driving style, I don't know. These aren't sports car tires I do know that. This is my first set and I'll buy them again when these wear out. I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to for these tires. A++ Go get cha some. You'll be happy

Have had the 305/45R22 on my 07 Avalanche for 10-12,000 miles (mostly paved road). Bought them so I could drive out on a remote beach with coarse sand. Had my wifes Infiniti FX35 AWD out there with street tires and got stuck. Didn't want that to happen in my truck. They never let me down in the sand although they had to work for it but they wear out very fast, they have maybe 10% left. Live in hot and dry climate so wet conditions not really an issue for me.
