Gateway-Buckshot-Mudders-Bias-Ply.jpg

I actually have the Co-op Grip Spur, but I didn't see an option here for that tire. It is virtually the same tire. Mine are an L78-15 built on a bias ply carcass with a "C" load rating. The bias construction has cost me 1-2 mpg, but I have gained a smoother(yet louder) ride compared to the old BFG AT's which came on my 70 K1500. I can also go place I never thought possible with this truck....even with open diffs front and back. These tires excel in loam, clay, mud, rocks, and goo. All the stuff most trails around the Blue Ridge region consist of. I have driven them through boggy slop hole that put water and mud over the top of the wheel wells and they pulled me through with ease. Same with gooey VA clay mixed with pond slime/mud that was hub deep. Chunky sharp granite and shale has not cut them or chunked the tread and the sidewalls are tough as iron. At the time of purchase, I was told that there were only 5 tires left in the east coast inventory beyond my set. I suppose if enough people sent mail/email/calls to the Co-op association, they might see about ordering another run....until that happens, the future looks bleak.

Who says Swamper suck on the highway? Here's a review for ya!! I just drove my '96 Cherokee with 34"x10.5" LTB's from Pittsburgh, PA to The National Redwood Forest (Humbuldt County California) to go backpacking for a couple of weeks, and back. 6178 miles and I still have over half my tread left. I didn't break any land speed records but it was a great trip and the tires performed excellent on the highway.

Mastercraft-Courser-HTR-Plus-250.jpg

Purchased because of price. I have had Mastercraft Courser HTR Plus 285/60/18 tires on Ford F150 Supercrew for 2 years with 28k miles on them now. Have had problems with traction from the beginning. Wheelspin in the wet is easily noticeable and often scary in this large of a truck. In 1" of snow last winter there was no chance of movement. On dry pavement when making a turn from a stop the sidewalls flex (I thought unusual on a 60 series tire) which causes traction loss. I would not recommend.

I put theses on my 1992 ram 150, 5.2l magnum, and i they have done me nothing but good things. I;ve pulled logs out of muddy fields, done muddin racing a lil bit of everything and they've stood up to the challenge. They got great tread and great wear. I love this tire and im gunna get another set this month for the front. I strongly recomend this tire for the average farm boy.

After about 20k miles run them all in reverse to smooth your tires and overall ride. Couldnt drive on the hwy but can now, smoothly. I think the insides of the tires wear out faster...got 37" claws on a 99 gmc, 9 "'s of lift.

"SWEET" 11 meter rig with EASY operation.HOT receiver & NICE audio on transmit.Lots of people mod theirs for extra channels but I'm leaving mine STOCK other than turning up the audio just a little.Run an ASTATIC "GOLDEN EAGLE" D-104 on mine which I use as a BASE radio. Not a huge radio so it does NOT take up to much space in my radio room(SHACK)!Catch you on the airways.

I have 325/60R18 load range D Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2008 Nissan Titan crew cab 2wd. They have about 25,000 miles on them with no real signs of wear. I have had this truck in four inches of snow on a gravel road on a pretty serious incline a 1/4 mile long and it made it to the top...sideways, but it still made it to the top... They howl like coyotes above 65 mph, but I am cool with that...

My buddy has a 2000 GMC Sierra Z71 with 285/75R16 and has 85,000 miles on them with no belts showing yet... He can't go offroad with them anymore, but they still have 2/32s and pass inspection...

I plan on getting these for my 2002 Silverado ecsb 2wd. I will get 305/50R20 for the rear and 275/55R20 for the front.

I don't know why some people's tires wear faster than others, but I think they might be getting the wrong load range, or have suspension issues with their trucks...

Great tires for the average driver on the highway and off road. Also great for towing or pulling boats up and out of bad boat launches. Some noise on highway but didn't notice with my flow master exhaust system. Ran the tires for about 35000 miles on a 2004 GMC 4x4 with no trouble at all.
