I was skeptical moving away from BFGoodrich and rightfully so. These tires aren't much cheaper. They look mean but hum horribly at highway speed and cause low speed vibration when coming to a stop at low speed. Should have stuck with the king of off road tires not a rookie wanna be. VERY DISAPPOINTED

I just put this tire on my 05 dodge 2500 diesel. The 37x13.5R17 look great. I am really impressed with how quiet they are on the Highway. Doing 75mph on the freeway and they only have a slight 'sing' but very faint over the 5" (smokestack) straight pipe to a 7" tip. I work in a tire shop so I installed and balanced the tires myself. 1 tire called for 21.5 ounces and most were fairly heavy in the 10-18 ounce range, but I got them close. But I do not have the violent shimmy that others have claimed. tires still ride smooth. hope they last more than 25k.

I have used them on mud, sand and gravel. Great all around tire, I have them (285/75r16) a 3/4ton Suburban with 3" lift. WOW I was impressed with my first outing in the mud, drug both axles and this was with a open rear end. I have since added a locker and it took me to bury the truck down to the frame axles and rear bumper to finally stop it. Took 4 trucks and 18000lbs of winching to get me out. They are a great general mud, trail but are not a bogger. They have gotten me by for now. They are quiet on the road handle daily driving real good.I'll keep buying them until they change them.

The only tire I will use now.. I have 37 X 12.5 on 17" Rims and they last such a long time. People are always asking where I got them from and how much they cost.

I'M extremely happy with my 31's i bought my truck used from a guy in ct who put all types of money into this truck and to be honest one of the things that really sold me were the TIRES ! they have the inserts for the spike which i might take advantage of this winter but i was amazed to see the price of the tires were very affordable.. so i think i will be buying these again i still have 32,000 until the warrenty goes so i have a while lol

I run these tires on both my trucks, 79 f-250 and 02 s-10, had them siped before mounting and they work great. Even on Canadian ice roads. Balanced with dynabeads and havn't had a problem for 80,000km.

Smittybilt-XRC10HD-Winch-reviews.jpg

UPDATE:

A spokesperson from Smittybilt said that the XRC 10 HD winch is currently unavailable and is back onto the development table to correct some issues with the compressor's plumbing. According to the spokesperson, Smittybilt is now part of Procomp and as many as 150 products are being redesigned by engineers in order to make improvements on these product lines. The Smittybilt XRC10HD is one of those products back in re-development. Smittybilt plans to re-release the XRC10HD but there is no definitive release date set, however Smittybilt says that they do plan to do so in the future. So the Smittybilt XRC 10 HD winch is not dead, just delayed.

The newer version of the one pictured above has a small cylindrical top which can be rotated. Given that both the pump and receptical can be rotated it made for an awesome fit under my passenger seat. My 265/76/16 tyres pump up reasonably quickly for the size of the unit (about 2 min from 22psi to 44 psi)For such a small and versitile unit I would buy another tomorrow, if I had too
