followed directions and then some. Sand blasted and then wire wheeled to remove the blasters primer. Brushed on product, let set 24 hrs,2nd coated. 3rd time I drove my car most all this product peeled off my exhaust manifolds.
I bought these tires to replace TSL Truxxus MT's which were good in snow and mud but noisy and wore fairly quickly.
The wet traction with the Grabber II's is very good. No hydroplaning. They do well in snow, stopping, turning, and accelerating with ease if you aren't crazy with the throttle or brake pedal.
I've only been on hard dirt so the verdict is out on wether they are good off road or if the carcass is tough. They do pick up pebbles and chuck them into the fenderwell which is a small price to pay for a good all-around AT tire. My truck is an '02 Silverado Z71 X-cab with a Detroit locker, CAI, cam, headers, tune. Shop around, prices vary on this tire.

I have tested it for 3 years now. No maintenance at all for that period. Pulled out Patrols, trucks, cars, Us, competition used on Toyota LC70... Great, now it showed some signs on low power but, with some maintenance it will be OK for a life time !

I have these tires on my 1992 Toyota pickup, 3 1/2 body lift and these tires get me through everything! They Really grab. 265-75-16 and they is some road noise once you get up to about 45 mph but other then that the tire is one of the best and cheap to. I've went to different places with some friend that have the tsl boggers and was able to keep right behind them the whole way. Great tire for everyday use and the weekend fun trips

Averaged 45k miles per set under a '95 Z71 (285/75/16). Quiet, good handling, even wearing, clean extremely well (even Caliche), do ok in sand if you don't spin them. Just wish I could put 'em under my '07.

I have a set of 37x13.5x20 on a 2006 F-250 with 6" lift. I installed my lift with approximately 26K miles on truck... I now have 82K and am still running them they have a good 10K left on them. I don't do alot of off roading mainly got them for the look, but I do pull a trailer and occaisionally get in a mud hole at the hunting lease. Overall these have been a great set of tires, no wobble shimmy or anything like you find with other tires like a bogger or swamper and I drive at excessive speeds on the highway. The only down side is that the side walls have cracks, not from dry rotting as it started about 20K ago and my truck stays clean, tires armoralled etc.

I bought an 04 silverado 2500hd and they have done great for pullin my truck and stuck trucks out no problem. Not sure how many miles on them, but i'm super unhappy with these ones i noticed the splits on the inner sidewalls and then checkin the air in the one day i saw all 4 were plittin on the outside. i replace the back 2 with some older tires and still have these on the front. Fingers crossed for no blowout... Great for your weekend buggy, but steer clear for the 2500's and any daily driver. (to think i wanted to get another set for my truck after i bought the 2500, that could have been a bad idea)

I have read a the reviews and think one tyre can not satisfy all I am aUK gamekeeper and use my lwb landrover everyday and have been brought up in wooded and muddy terrain this tyre has been on my 4x4 for some 44,000 miles and it does what is says on the box I am happy I hasten to add I do not put the tyre thru some of your users extreme handling what can you expect few tyres would take the jhammering use sensibly they will last
