Got a set at les schwab tires in roseville ca.the ride was quiet, balanced out better then any m/t tire i've had.the tire is heavier so when I hit bumps my front end tends to shake.I run them on a 2002 tahoe so the 10 ply is a big jump from a 4 ply.Overall a great tire.just have to make sure u take care of them to get the miles u want, rotate often. And if u dont believe that les schwab stands behind this tire just take a look at the employees vehicles,80% of them run this tire on their personnal trucks.

I own a former US cell truck with over 220,000 miles on it.It an 05 Dodge quad cab, longbox, 2500 4x4 Diesel.Since day one,my buddy that works for US Cell had these Nitto Terras installed, they are 295/70 17s on stock wheels, and they all wore great.I bought the truck with 180,000,and had a new set installed at that time.I now have just over 223,000 miles on it,and the tires have around 30% tread left.Plus I dont rotate as often as I should, but there is NO signs of uneven wear...ANYWEAR!Almost all the miles on her are from the ol blacktop in Ks,and Neb,but I farm and race,so I drive at least 80 miles daily M-F and over 250 on the weekend pulling a gooseneck.Great traction off road as well, snow, mud, rock, nothing deep or extreme but a really great tire non the less.I love taking dirt roads home after work and not having to worry about road conditions, and if I choose the blacktop interstate for a weekend of racing, they are just as enjoyable, and quiet.I run around 50-70 lbs in them all yr long.I would recommend these all day long. Thanks Nitto.

My husband and I have just bought a 1979 Silver Anniversay CJ-5 that we are going to restore. We didn't know what we had until we did the reseach. Does anyone know where I could find the anniversary medallion that goes on the glove box?

I have had Definity (Futura)Dakota A/T's on 4 vehicles (Jeep Commander Full Time 4X4, Ford F150 4X4, Chevy Suburban 4X4 and Dodge Ram 1500 4X4) Tread wear is not very good, but they do honor the warranty and give you the prorated amount off the next set. Tires need to be rebalanced frequently and DO take a lot of weights to balance. Rotate these tires every 3000 miles or they will wear out in about 15K to 20K miles. Traction is good for about half the tread, but anything under about 6/32nds is a pretty bad in snow/slush. Pretty good overall for a cheaper all terrain tire. Much better than General Grabber...

Installed 285/70/R17 on Wrangler JKU. I agree with the above reviewer that there is some harmonic vibration at 55-65mph. These tires are awesome looking, and are polite onroad. Got into some mud, mild rocks, dry packed clay etc and it was all grip. Very heavy tires, but I am fearless now with them. Will report on tread wear as they go. I have Terra Grapplers on a Tacoma that have lasted 45K with 1/2 tread left, so expecting the best.
