I have this in my TJ trail Jeep. I've not had to weld anything for myself (yet) but fixed a few friends up in the past year. The welder struck a nice bead and didn't take up much room in the TJ's engine compartment.

ill be the first to admit these tires did ok in the mud but still not as good as i had hoped. i was under the impression that with a name like super swamper they would be alright. i guess i should have went with bogger or tsl, but what are gonna do. this expeirience has not turned me to SS altogether just on these tires. but now i have been running the kumho road venture KL71 and i couldn't be happier. its a shame SS has practically ruined me. but what do expect with high expectations. the way this tire was built up by my friends no wander i expected more than i got.

I've had these on my Chevy 1500 for a about 6 months now and I'm pleased with the tire. The carbide granules have surfaced just in time for the winter in western NY state and I can't wait to see how they help on the ice. I work construction sites in my area and have to tread through some thick mud at times and I've never been stuck. The Icelanders have pulled through the thickest muck better than my BFGs did. The Icelanders are also great on the road. I expected a lot more noise but they're actually quite in my opinion for a mud tire. Nice tire. Recommended.

I HAVE ONLY 2000 MILES ON THESE TIRES AND THEY HAVE ALREADY WORN PRETTY BAD. NATIONAL WHEEL AND TIRE TELLS ME THAT THE TIRE WILL RUN OUT OF ROUND AFTER SOME WEAR. I HAVE HAD THESE AT TWO DIFFERENT PLACES AND THEY CANNOT SEEM TO GET THEM TO STAYED BALANCED OUT. THESE TIRES MIGHT BE GREAT IN THE SNOW, MUD, AND SAND, BUT THEY SUCK BIGGG TIME ON THE HIGHWAY!!!!!!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE TIRES TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO RUN THEM AS A STREET TIRE. IF THESE TIRES WILL NOT WEAR WELL ON THE STREET THEN THEY DON'T NEED TO BE RATED A 4 OUT OF 5 FOR STREET PERFORMANCE!!!

This is a very good tire. I have a set on my 750i Brute Force 4X4. I run the 27x10x12 all the way around and they work very well. They have got me out of some pretty tough spots. I would recommend these tires to anyone looking for a well rounded tire. I would definitely buy another set!!!
These tires are awsome pull you through the deepest and meanest holes you can find.If you are looking for tires that will last as long as your atv then these are the tires you want I have over 8,000 hard Km on mine and they still have over 80% tread left and my buddies have went through two sets of their ( mudlight) tires .Great in the snow handle well ride smooth and will make you giggle running through the mud. Good job GBC

So far had them in the sand and rocks, these tires performed great. Out did the old Destination M/T's I had by a mile. Would recommend this tire to all.
