I've used several M/T tires in the past. I've drive everywhere, street, mud, trail, sand, and snow. These tires are the best I've ever used. My only recommendation would be to have them siped once the siping they come with wears out. That makes a huge difference. I had a pair with 15,000 miles on them and they were slipping on wet pavement (of course I had 800 lb/ft of wheel torque) and once they were siped, I couldn't spin them even if I tried. Also these tires, when taken care of and properly rotated last forever. I have gotten an average of 50,000 miles out of them.

I have 265/75r16 on a 99 explorer sport with a 2 inch torsion twist, whoever said these suck in the mud are crazy, I had my truck sunk to the headlights in clay and walked right out, very quiet smooth ride, only have 300 miles on em so idk how they will wear, overall very good tire

Have a set on my 99 Jeep Cherokee there around 36in tall and I bought them used from a old farmer and wanted a new set mine are almost out of life after a year of hard rideing from me lot of road miles on them too they hold up alright I think
i had mine for about a year and a half, thread wear of about 50%, travelled 24,000 kilometers on them, mostly on paved roads, occassionally on muddy terrain. Started to be more noisy at this time and inner sidewalls are splitting on multiple locations, one has started to leak air. I am seriously looking for another brand of tires

Bought a set of 245/75R16s for my 2001 Jeep Cherokee with 3.5" lift. these tires were equal to my 31s i had on before on regards to height. They stick pretty well to the lava rock around here, never had a sidewall puncture. Handles pretty well in deep mud and in Ice and snow. the tread design is ugly. but who cares when the performance is there. I DO NOT recommend these for HD truck installation. Had a set of 2001 Dodge Cummins. and they wore out pretty quick.

Looks great... But it needs extensive modifications to make it fit. You have to drill your own mounting holes. there is no access to the space below the cup holders. The cyp holders are too shallow to hold a tumbler which falls over when cornering.

I've never had atire I'd rate a 10, but these are good tires. Don't worry about the 15 year old expert reviews about them getting stuck in a heavy frost then exploding. I ran these on a 2wd Ranger supercab with good results in wet, snowy Michigan/Ohio winters. putting a set on my '11 f150 before winter to replace the originals (that I do consider very marginal tires).

I am following up from my review from Sept 27, 2011. So I just replaced my tires with another set of these. I put 77,000 miles on them and was able to sale them with 5/32 still of tread. Since posting last year I towed my travel trailer through 23 States with these tires(4,200 lbs on the rear axle). These tires wear very even, never had a flat, not even a slow leak over the life of these tires. Bullet proof tires. I hope I get the same results with this new set. Again, I rotated every 3,500 miles.
