I have had Wrangler MT 225 75R16 on my series III Landrover for a few years now. Due to limited mileage I have ignored the problems, however the tyres have a tendency to Castleated wear. This is a really weird pattern where alternate lugs wear down. This gives you a rough surface, LOTS of noise and vibration. My shocks and suspension are fine, it apparently a common experience here in Scotland. We also have mud and peat, which these have not been great in. BFG TracEdge were better, but alas are no more.
Apparently Goodyear are also no longer importing all sizes of MTs into the UK either.

These tires are good for an entry level offroader who wheels their near stock daily driver but not good for anyone who has a modified rig and expect a tire to tear through mud and not slide around

I mounted 305 75 R16 to my 2009 Rubicon Unlimited. My first drive was a 5hr drive down highways and the tire did great. I havn't taken these tires offroad yet but I had the same type on my 2007 jeep. Great for slinging mudd and they cleaned them selves very well. Can't to get these offroad

I had these in 31-10.50-15 on 15X10 wheels on a sprung-over 88 Samurai and loved them very very quiet on the road, even with the top off. Good in mud- better than BFG MT. Idk about tread life because I sold the Sammy 6 months after I bought them but they seemed to wear really well. They do okay on rocks. Good for a dd that sees regular mud, rocks or trails. Great for the price. Cost a lot less than other tires that aren't half as good. When I lift my XJ, I wil be buying another set. I highly recommend these tires.

i just teasted out my new 285/75 17 on my single cab short bed dodge ram hemi and they work great! I think they might even be better than my 36" iroks i had on my 78 k10, but I might just be excited since they are new. Not to loud, but have only gotten them up to 50 mph. The only thing I worry about is how long they will last, but only time will answer that. If you are planning on getting a mud tire, I highly suggest these, you won't be let down.

these tires have been very good in mud, on the trail, and awesome on the road. i have taken these tires which is on my dodge dakota quad cab (2wd) places were 4wd vehicles have gone. it has the traction to make it up steep hills with lil or no problem. i have only taken these tires through surface mud. not no deep ruts or anything, but they perform like a champ on surface mud. oh and there great on the road. well worth your investment!

Whoever is above... You shouldnt have bought this tire if you really need an enhanced sidewall. Go with a Cooper discoverer that has Armor Tek3 sidewall protection. I usually 4wheel in Moab and Denver, and have never had sidewall issues, so its no concern to me. I think they are a great buy for the price. I think they are the best tire next to the MTR-K, and they do well in the snow. My only complaint is high-speed traction in heavy rain. I like that the sidewalls are softer, I dont need to air down as much to get good flex on the treadpattern, and dont run the risk of blowing a bead. I have beadlocks now, so even that doesnt matter. Killer tire for the money.
