I tried the Tornado on my Camry V6 2000, and the mpg decreased from 26 mpg to 21mpg. However, the car seem to produce more power at the wheels. I guess that the extra power must come from the extra gas and less oxigen mixture.

I've had these tires for about 6 months. I have 35x12.50 mounted on 16x8 weld rims. I drive to and from work on the highway for a total of 26 miles each way. I haven't have any problems with them on dry or wet pavement. I also go to the beach often on weekends and don't normally have air down at all! It all depends on which beach I go too. I haven't really tested the tires in the mountain mud and dirt roads but as soon as I do I will send you my reviews! I recomend and intend to buy a set of 33x12.50 on 15x8 rims for my YJ Jeep project this summer. Aloha Storm from Kauai, HI.

these are great tires if youre looking for long lasting somewhat aggressive tire. did great in mud snow and pavement. didnt try them on sand. the only problem i had with them were balcance. BE SURE TO READ SPECS BEFORE ORDER. when i got my 38 15.50 i thought they looked small compared to my 38s on the truck. looked up specs too late and saw that the tire really doesnt measure what it says. thats not interco falt but i think they shouldnt say 38 15.50 if they dont really measure to that size. over all great tire i recommend it

i liked these tires enough to buy them twice i just dont like the fact that i can pay less for a more agressive mud tire that lasts close to the same time and are way bigger than my grapplers were the tires are great in the mud and sand. i had them in the snow but were low on tread so i couldnt rate how they would do. over all i would recommend these tires to so friends

I use the 265/70R17 Xtreme Mud Terrain. They grip well, but are out of round. I have seen that it is hit or miss. You either get some that are round and great, or out of round. If I could get some that are true, this would be a great tire. I have 6 on a dodge 3500 daully.

My 4th set of M-55s. I even pulled a set of M-55s with a 20 year bandag cap on them out of the barn and put them on my plow truck. They are siped in the middle and studded on the outside. That means the casings are very good! Knock on wood; I've never had a flat with an M-55!

By the looks of it I'm the only non-american to review this tyre. Well in australia all Paul Hogan referances aside, the real outback bush is about 1000miles from anywhere and damn it if u don't have decent tyres you could be struck and subsequently possibly die, and that's a real possibility. But they've survived everything iv thrown at them: clay mud, soupy mud, deep creeks, gib-rocked deserts, the great simpson sand desert, and all the insanely difficult tracks between.

But the maxxis's have stood the test, done very well, they wear well, are fairly tough. The only downside is that when u get a puncture and u will get one on the way to the red centre its a bit more difficult than other tyres to repair.

I have a 1992 Toyota Landcruiser 75 series Troop Carrier RV, with the usually stuff: 4in lift, 35in tyres, front and back lockers, genIII V8, 15000p warn winch.

N luckily I paid for close to none of it cuz my business does it so I can travel out bush.

But the bighorns do make one hell of a racket on tarmac, I swear my mickeyt baja claws don't make that much noise but its lucky I'm not on the tarmac too much

But over all most people use bighorns as their mean looking daily drive tyres for comp trucks, but they still have some mean offroad ability

I have fought with these tires from day 1. They were so hard to keep balanced. Never the less I did my part. This past weekend the left rear tires tread separated and nearly caused me to wreck my F-250. It caused 2000.00 worth of damage as welll to my truck. Can't wait to fight the battle with Dick Cepek.

This product is worth the money. We have an old clunker that does not get very good of gas mileage. We put one package in and immediately saw a difference. After two or three fillups we saw an even bigger difference. We also got better gas mileage. Way worth the money.
