Fourwheeling offroad in Clearfield County, Spring of 1999

Day   TwoOur second day we met up with a couple of fellow offroaders who definitely like to have fun.   Lee, Gary and Gary's son came along for the day in their Jeep Cherokees, both well modified for the offroad.  Gary's 96 Cherokee Sport was well equipped with a Dana 44 rear axel and ARB Air Lockers front and rear just to mention a few of his numberous mods.  Lee's machine was well equipped with a rear locker, lowered gears, ARB Bull Winch bar and 33" Super Swampers.  The rest Lee made up for in guts.

Below are a few pics of an area we found while out on an old logging trail over the weekend.  Calling it Corkscrew trail for the way it corkscrewed up the mountian. Check back again soon for more images of the Corkscrew trail itself.  Not many were taken but we got a few. This narrow trail eventually emerged into what we least expected, a HUGE field on top of the mountain.  We skirted the overgrown field until we came upon this playland of gravel mounds where Lee and Gary flexed their suspensions.
