I sold my old Harbor Freight(Road Shock)10K winch to a logger and bought this new style Badlands 12K to replace it. I liked the Road Shock so much I had no problem buying what HF claims to be a better designed winch. The new 12K bolted directly to where the old 10K winch mounted. They added additional thermal protection in the form of an additional ground wire and a gang of 3 breakers connect directly to the positive terminal lead. I just came back from a weekend in the woods four wheeling, used the winch twice with no issues...big deal right. The way I see it, if this winch will take half the abuse I gave my 10K, I'll be very impressed. Personally I can't see why people would spend stupid money for a name plate. I can run down stairs and print up a Rolls Royce sticker for my winch, but that doesn't make my winch any better... catch my drift. They are all great winches, it's just that mine costs less and will probably last just as long. your call.

Put these tires (35/12.5r17) on an 06 Megacab dodge at 48k miles and am still running them at 107k miles, I figure they will last this winter. Anybody that complains that they wear out too fast is not rotating them, I do oil Changes every 8k miles and rotate them then! And I DRIVE my truck!!!

I used to run only bfg atko's, found these for $300 less than the bfg's and decided to try them, to date they haven't let me down on or off the road! Snow, light mud, gravel, wet pavement, wet grassy hills you name it no problems! I do alot of hunting and for the year I've had these tires they've gotten me to where I needed to go and further! Recommend rotating every 5000-7000 miles or you will get some uneven wear on the shoulders due to the tread pattern!

Have had them on my 03 tj for over 3 years, they are still good as a street tire. On wet rocks and mud they are tops. Balancing these tires was the easiest of any tire I have ever owned. Very few weights required.
