Ive had these tires for about 4 months and they still have about 80% of the tread left. They do great in sand, mud and trails. I dont know about snow because i live in North Carolina but i would imagine that they would do just as good. Ive never been stuck with them and doubt i ever will. I would recommend this tire to anyone who rides on the street and goes offroading.

I did alot of research on tires for my Ford F250 Superduty and these 285-75-16's fit right on the stock truck. These tires are bad A$$ and I do mostly highway driving. I am very impressed, driving at 65 vibrates a little but maybe they didn't do so good balancing them, when I get up to 75-80 on the interstate it stops, but the humm is quite loud, also loud at about 30-45. I cut through Washington DC in the mornings from Maryland to Virginia, when I am in the city people constantly stare at the tires. As for the mud and dirt, these things are nasty, I don't even have to use four wheel drive but that may be because I was used to balding tires before. Try these, technology has changed, even towing is great! As for the rocks I haven't tried but it eats accidental curbs up!

Colorado tested and passed with flying colors. I will never go back to BFG's again. Hauls my land rover discovery up the sides of mudbogged treacherous switchbacks with ease. Fireroads might as well be paved. Tackles the trails with impressive control. These MT's are serious traction-monsters and grip like a vise. They also do very very well in the rain and snow. On the road, they are actually very quiet for MT's. Jeepers have actually asked me, "What the hell are those?" Overall these are GREAT tires.

These tires are excellent for the mud enthusiasts out there. They will pull you through some of the deepest mud holes and they do an excellent job of getting thru deep ruts because of the full tread extended on the side wall. Definitely recommend these tires if you like to go deep!

I bought my first set about 2 months ago, and I havent even been close to getting stuck in any kind of mud. I bought a winch a month ago, havent had to use it, I'm starting to think I wasted my money on the thing. The downfall they are like slicks in the rain. But all in all, im completely happy with them, I think the ppl that bash them are steering you wrong.

people who put these tires on big poser trucks then complain are tards. The name says it all, "DUNE grappler," not "I have a lifted truck and want flames on my tire grappler" running these in soft firma and sand is great, dont expect great results on wet roads as there are no sipes and the tire will float

I have a set of these tires in the 35x12.5r16 on my 99 3/4ton gmc classic and these tires are perfect. I live in Maine and go to school in Nova Scotia a 600 mile trip and at highway speeds in excess of 90mph there is no wobble or worry. Fuel economy seems to be unaffected as I average 15mpg on the trip. Snow is no problem, neither is heavy rain in storm winds of 80mph. Would definitely buy another set and recomend to anyone.
