Bought these tires in February 2006, they were reallly new then and I wanted to try something different. 285/70/17 on my F-150, they are wearing wonderfully, about 38,000 miles and still have about 9/32 tread (new 18.5/32). I would expect to get at least 50k out of these bad boys. I love this tire, they look sweet (i still get compliments), they have great road manners and are pretty dadgum quiet on the road and even at 75-80mph. I would definitely recommend these tires and would buy again for sure if they made a 305/70/17 or a 295/70/17.

-Wet Traction is great!
-Traction in Mud and dirt is great.
-Smooth ride on roads.
-Aggressive looks with meaty lugs.
-Noise = 1-10 is a 5... 1 being no noise. Over all they are surprisingly quite for being an M/T tire.
I've used the Pro Comp Xterrain and Interco SSR's and they simply suck for everyday road use/weekend warrior expeditions. The Xterrain and SSR should primarily used for off road which they do very well at.
Once again… I cant emphasize enough how well these tire handle on wet roads… It just blows me away!
Finally, I found a tire that I will keep using from now on!

On my jeep liberty this did nothing but hurt the fuel economy. This product doesnt make sense on fuel injected vehicles because all it does is restrict airflow, the fuel isn't mixed on top on the engine liked a carb. My advice is to save your money to buy more gas.

Bought a used set with about 80% tread left. I run the 33x10.5 On a small Nissan D21. Good in the woods/mud and even snow, they really bite and grip..so far i like them a lot.
I Can't wait to the snow to go so i can test them on the trails and rock.

I just purchased 4 of these in 29" size for my land rover discovery. I had regular street tires on it before and i couldnt make it through hardly any mud and constantly had the wheels spinning. I took my rover to a mud hole and it didnt slip much at all. I would give this tire a 3/5 in the mud and a 4/5 on the street. Overall i love this tire and would get another set.
