I ride the high deserts of SoCal. The extra ground clearance on my KFX400 was quickly appreciated. Great traction on rocks and uneven surfaces. Steering is much improved, it goes where its pointed now. The steering can be a little twitchy on hard surfaces.

I have about 15k on my tires and not even half worn. they are alittle loud but they are a mud tire. They work great on the road wet and dry. They work very well in the mud, gravel, trails, rocks and, hard packed dirt. I drove 2 hours at 75 to 80 mph to the trail 4 wheeled all day and drove home at 75 to 80 mph with no problems. Three other people had a flat tire from the rocks. they work well on ice when at 20psi. with these tires i don't have to lock the axles in on my jeep rubicon but maybe one or two times and it isn't because of the tires. i highly recommend these tires!!!!!!!!

IMHO the short answer is yes it works however with that said there are some caveats. Some manufactures of the newest cars are making the same type of technology an integral part of their engines, and thus in these cases little if any improvement will be realized. However for the majority of vehicles on the road that don’t already employ high performance intake manifolds or employ metered air injection, a significant increase in efficiency can be realized. Basically the device works by providing a better mix of air and fuel. Here is a site that has some additional info about it and also some practical tips on saving gas: payingless4gas_com
It is always best to do your own research.

I have about 15k on my Tera Trac MTs. Got them on a Nissan XTerra which I take offroad about once a month. These tire do great on the road and average trails but as far as mud goes they are about average. I've had them clog with mud and not slef-clean as I'd hoped. But I'm still happy with them. I'm thinking next time I may go a little more aggressive as my wheeling is getting more aggressive.

I do a lot of ranch driving and deer hunting on logging roads. Driving over washouts and through silt the tire doesn't skit a beat. I would recommend them to everyone. 40,000 mi and there is still life left in them!
