I Had them installed on an F250 and my first and second time out the tread next to the side wall actually came off in chunks, This was mild trail driving, on an E rated tire

They grip and handle well but I barely get 40,000 miles out of them. I've had 6 sets of these, I kept going back because they handle water so well and do better then you would think in mud but the price keeps going up so it is time to move on to something else.

Bought my set of Maxxis Bighorns on a set of American racing wheels for $200 from a guy online, two of them were brand new and two of them were iffy because his alignment was bad when he put them on. I, AM, IMPRESSED. I put the tires with the lesser tread on the rear wheels of my F150 to keep myself out of trouble off road and the neither of them even look like they have worn down at all, the pair on the front still looks brand new after 10,000 miles from me and I have no idea how many from the previous owner. I will DEFINATELY be buy these tires for every vehicle I own from now on, and probably a pair to replace the other two in the near future.

The toyota I drive all year round and I travel alot on snow covered roads. Just do to the fact that Im up and on the roads before the plow trucks and never had a problem at all. Like I said..... I used a few sets on my Pajero 1995 V6 on diferent terrains-desert in the Negev, deep mud in the vallys and mountauns of the Gallile and Mt. Carmel in Israel-and the good tiers never dissapointed me, when other drivers were stuck..
Last few years i use the BF on my land Cruiser-and they [after trying other firms]-and the BF-are no doubt-the best !
