I have about 2000 miles on a set of 285/70/17 and they are awesome so far. They are on a 2004 dodge ram 1500 with no lift so if all the tire people tell you can't put this size on a stock dodge with out a leveling kit they are wrong and i did not even have to do any trimming. This tire may have a little road noise but I have flows on my truck so I can't even hear them unles i'm rolling to a stop, but if that botheres you you don't ned a tire like this any way.

I bought the Viper Elite 10,000 pounder about 6 months ago, installed it on my JK. Used it about 6 or 7 times this past summer. Did fine, pulled strong. For the price you can't beat the deal. The Amsteel alone is worth a couple hundred bucks. I read that their ATV winches were decent so I took a shot at the full size winch and I've been happy with it. I swapped out the Moto sticker on the housing for a Viper snake head sticker and people are like, what the hell kind of winch is that?? It's a Viper.

It's been an absalute nightmare having purchased 5 Pro-Comp Extreme tyres 285x75 All Terains ! The tyres wobbled my steering wheel between 70 & 100kph and the whole car vibrated. They were noisy and slipery on the bitumen when wet.I tried on car wheel balancing and rotating on the rim but nothing worked. Don't buy them !!!

I have 50,000 Kms on so far, should last another year, excellent all around traction on gravel, pavement, mud and snow. They are just as quiet as a regular all terrain tire, with far more traction, good value for the money.

Goodyear-Wrangler-Silent-Armor.jpg

As a forester I have put many sets of tires on many different trucks. My driving time is split on and off road with various road conditions and all weather in all seasons, with and without a trailer. I can say confidently, wearing through two sets, that I have put these tires through their paces. They are a very solid performer in an extremely wide variety of conditions. Apart from deep mudding these tires will satisfy most drivers needs. I have needed the 10ply for the puncture protection and have suprising never had a flat, even when I should have. They are spendy and have notice I haven't gotten the life out of them I would have expected, but I punish these tires on demanding haul roads. A very solid all around performer, excellent for snowy climes.
