I got this winch on sale at Pa Jeeps a few years back, and for the price that it is, its a great winch. I pulled out a Full sized Bronco that was stuck in about 3' of thick mud. it wasnt moving anywhere fast, and after I chained my Jeep to another vehicle to keep me from sliding, I pulled him right out. The only problem is, is that it is a slow motor, and it heated up pretty fast so I had to let it cool down. but for the price it is well worth it.

This is a very good tire but takes some getting use to. At first the truck/tire seems very unstable at highway speeds. The tire was not as stiff as the BFG's it replaced. However sometime in the first 1,000 miles I got use to the tire and thats when it started to shine. It could be the best true all-terrian tire period if Goodyear would increase the sidewall stiffness. I have put 25,000 miles on this tire so far with about 5,000 of that truely being off-road. Still showing 10/32 came new 18/32 so I'm expecting 50,000+. In mud and snow these tires will pull until your frame gets hung up if your not careful. Will not hydroplane. Alittle noise at highway speed but thats to be expected. Sidewall stiffness is the only negative to this tire. If you pull heavy loads or frequently put heavy loads in the bed then I would look at something else like Cooper Tires they have 3 ply sidewalls. I have hauled heavy loads with this tire but it does flex alittle to much when working hard. I would recommend this tire as a daily driver/weekend warrior but not as a do all work truck tire.

NOTE TO GOODYEAR: 3 ply sidewalls and this will be the best true all-terrian EVER created!!!!

Poor snow and ice handling. I'm a prisoner in my driveway. Tires so poor for climbing snow covered driveway that I stay home for fear of getting stuck or sliding backwards. If snow and hills are an issue where you drive, don't get these.

GMC Sierra 2wd, 8 months on truck. So far they have been great for me. I went from BFG ATs to these in 31X10.50-15 and do not regret the purchase. Not sure about the complaints in rain, mine have performed flawlessly in wet conditions. The truck is used for heavy towing and foul weather only, not a daily driver. The truck is equipped with a selectable rear locker and when engaged I have absolutely zero traction issues in sloppy conditions. I use it to pull between 10 and 15k pound loads up a 40+% grade over loose gravel and dirt on average of 3 times per week(I work for a wheel manufacturer and the warehouse is located at the the top of the hill around a 90* turn which tractor trailers can't make, so we use my truck and an HD double axle equipment trailer to transport the pallets from the bottom to the warehouse). These tires, with around 3500lbs in the bed and over 7k on the trailer never skip a beat. Also, I used the truck a few days ago to remove a truck from a 5ft ditch after a run in with black ice. Once I locked the rear, the tires hooked the ice/snow slush and pulled the truck right out with no drama. This is something the truck would have failed at with the BFGs or Toyo Open Country ATs that were previously on it. As for my opinion goes I would not recommend these for a daily driver or highway queen, but I would highly recommend them as an option for a work truck or rescue vehicle. I greatly exceed the load rating on a routine basis and have never had a failure. If anyone would like to see these things in action, I have numerous videos available including one last week pulling the truck out of the ditch on slushy roads. Hope this helps. God Bless.

I can't believe the people who are downgrading this tire for the reasons they chosen. Like a few other reviewers have posted... KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BUYING!

This is an A/T tire and you will not find another A/T tire that is as quiet or as smooth on the road as the Revo. Period.

If your tire wears uneven, well, there are so many things that go into that that you can't just blame the tire. I got 60k out of my first set and they wore fine. I have the lifetime rotate and balance, and alignment with Firestone, so I'm able to keep them in good shape. They will wear even if you treat them right.

You can't be close to wearing out the tire and then be upset about how they perform in rain and snow.

Being that I live in Colorado, I wouldn't think of putting any other tire on my 4Runner. It is the best A/T tire out there for performance and road noise.

Read the enormous amount of reviews of this tire in other forums as well as "official" tests like Consumer Reports. You will see that anyone who knows anything about tires rates these extremely high. Believe the thorough test reviews and not a few random negative posts.

One reviewer stated that he drove two miles on a brand new set and was "fish tailing because the side walls were flexing." Come on now, really? I mean, really?

Put 265x75x16 on my 2003 F350 Diesel CC LB 4X4 about 200 miles ago and can't wait to get back to the tire shop to have them taken off. My truck feels like my boat or like driving on ice. The tires seem to latch on to any little rut or groove in the road and give you a sideways jiggle that you have to correct for. They are load range E pressured to 55 PSI front & 80 at rear. The take-offs were Michellin LTX's and handling was never a concern. The Duratracs give you better traction and smoother ride, but from a safety point of view, they are a hazzard in my opinion. I can't imagine what it would be like driving with my 33 Foot camper hooked behind; an accident in the waiting.

Firestone-Destination-MT-250.jpg

I would have never thought I would like a Firestone tire but now there are 5 on my 2007 H3 HUMMER. These tires are without a doubt the best M/T tires I have ever owned. Firestone engineers obviously did their homework and came up with a solid winner! I'm over 50 so I've owned a few sets of mud tires in my time but these just are too good to believe. If I had to say a bad thing about these tyres it's because of the way they're built to protect the rim of the wheel with an overlap it makes it impossible for older alingment equipment to attach thus causing me to have to look for a different shop. Even Firestone where I bought them can't align the truck because of the tires.

Won't make a 6000 lb truck handle like a miata, but surprised by just how well they do stick on wet and dry pavement. Outstanding rain tire. As good as any A/T tire offroad but not a full mudder. My GMC sticker recommends 30 psi for 20's and that's worked well for me.
