Love the tires. I need an aggresive tire on the farm everyday. As well as one that rides great up and down the highway. Nitto has done a great job with the nitto trail grappler. Very pleased so far

i absolutely loved this tire. they were loud on the road but not like a mud grappler so it wasnt too bad, once they rounded out they rode as smooth as could be, THESE THINGS BOG, they clean very well. i had them on a 2500 suburban(very heavy) never got stuck or even close but they did ware fast. would def recomend them.

I run 325/65/18 on a 7" lifted 08 Toyota Tundra lonbed with a camper. I just did my 3rd tire rotation after roughly 15K and 1.5 years. They have been wearing very even and I hope to get no less than another 15K out of these tires. I do regular rotations and only one front end alignment in the 1.5 years. I mostly do highway mileage on these where the trips range from 90 minutes to 18 hours long. So far, I can't really complain. They have done well in heavy rains even while trailering a 5x10 with utility quad. They grip well on gravel and I've never been stuck in any mud or sand. But I do notice they like to hold sand/dirt so that it ends up being a slick ball of tractionless nothing after awhile. I have driven it on the beach but my truck is so heavy who knows! Overall, yes I'd get them again over paying more for BFGs. I love the way they look, they feel great when driving down the road, and I was impressed that they do not have a ton of road noise as I was expecting for an offroad type tire.

These ain't your grandfathers Coopers of yesteryear! These are serious MT's!
Whats great is that @ the 285/75 R16 size, they are load D. From what I research a year ago, you WILL NOT find a Load C tire in that size in a 16" rim. Hence my delight in the load D rating of the Cooper.
Furthermore, the sidewalls are sinister, aggressive & functional as all hell!! Air 'em down & they flex superbly for my TJ. Have yet to get a puncture. On road they are predictable in both dry & wet conditions. In snow, they shine!
I'm definitely going to be buying a 2nd set when the time comes.

These came on my 5.9 grand cherokee when I got it. They are mediocre at best. I drive pretty hard both on and off the road and they don't excel in anything. They are louder than they should be considering they are not very agressive. Also they offer mediocre handling in wet or dry conditions. Did allright in the huge snow that we had, but I think the Jeep 4x4 system has more to do with that than the tires. All in all, they have put up with a lot of abuse, hard driving, donuts in the snow, and lots of mud and rock crawling and they did not ever fail. But unless you are out of options and strapped for cash, dont get them.

Best on/off-road mud-tire I've owned. I have these as my second set of tires, which I only use for weekend mud bogging/trail fun with my 87 Chevy V10. The tires do an amazing job of digging in, and keeping me going forward no matter how deep the mud gets, or how loose the dirt gets during a hill climb. I've actually found I rarely need to use my lockers, and when I do, it's usually only to get going after having stopped.

After many sets of BFG mudders I was totally disguted when they ruined thier looks. The Firestones have that clean rugged look and are holding up well on both our Tahoe and our Dodge 1500. I will stay with these tires unless they get cute with the looks like BFG did.
