I got this only because I saw it in action. I really didn't think it would work all that well but I was surprised to see it lift a truck buried to the frame in sand. I do a lot of fishing at the beach along North and South Carolina. I been stuck a few time. I got one of these xjacks and the couple of times I got stuck in the sand, it lifted the truck up where a jack couldn't have possibly been used. It has it's limits and I wouldn't use it to work on a vehicle but it is flexible enough to use in certain situations. Jay

This winch is fast, and has 150' of cable wich comes in handy. I use it on my farm to clear dead trees, yank my tractor and I've pulled out a stuck combine that was mired in a low muddy area. The winch doesn't stall or over heat and works hard. I've used it for 4 years now and trasfered it from my wrecked TJ to my YJ. The TJ was totalled in a high speed rollover and the winch plate was bent and the solenoid pack pushed back, but the winch was fine. It is a tall winch and may block air flow to the radiator on some vehicles, but I have never had an issue with overheating. Highly recommend winch!

Got one of these on my 72 Bronco and I used it every once in a while. Last fall I had a 2 hour winching ordeal hauling a disabled Jeep up a mountain trail to get it back to camp. The winch did great and I never felt that it was getting too hot. I would recommend Amsteel Blue over the wire rope. All the hard use I put my wire rope through gave it a few kinks. Switched over to synthetic and it's better to winch with. Strong winch.
Nice site BTW

This is a great little winch. I have a tube buggy with limited space for a winch. Also wanted to keep the weight down and this is what I decided to install. I've used it a lot, wheeling on some local boulders. It's strong yet fast. The only drawback is the short length of rope on the spool but I carry a couple of extra lengths of synthetic rope extensions for the times I need to get it out further. Generally though the 50 foot is plenty. Looks great too.

I've got 37x13.50 on my 2000 Z71 and they do great in every condition I've ever been in.(Mud,Clay,River Sand, and All Types of Trails.) They do take some wheel speed to keep the tread clean, but that just makes you truck look better when your done. I would recommend these tires to anyone, They will definitly be my choice again.
