These are awesome vehicles. I've wanted one since my small kid days and just bought a '74 today. It will probably never be as pretty as this one, but it makes me happy.
Enjoy it! - Tom in Alaska

I have these tires on my 98 Tacoma and was disappointed when they started chunking badly. I used these tires in a lot of loose rock and gravel and although they got good traction they got torn up. I have only had one flat.

To the last guy... Actually you're wrong. MTR means "Maximum Traction / Reinforced". The MT refers to the tread design and the "R" refers to "Dura-Wall" sidewall. The MTR is the predecessor to the previous generation Goodyear Wrangler MT. Good tire for the most part but not the best for the price.

Haven't run this tire yet but I am getting them mounted next week. All the bad reviews about mud make me wonder why you all bout them haha. The MTR means MAximum Terrain Rocks not mud hahaha. Looking forward to run them soon though

Very good tire. You get what you pay for and this is true for this tire. They are wearing great and riding smooth. I have around 25k on mine thats 99% street on a ford superduty turbo diesel. Truck weighs stock 7,300. One of the baddest looking tires ever made. I get complments on them all the time.

i rated this product an 8 because i have only about 5K miles on them. they are very quiet on the street with no tracking/wandering from grooves in the road, ride smoothly, and handle nicely. The tread is hard enough to have a long treadlife (67 on hardness scale from 4wheeler mag.), but are also good on the rocks (they do throw quite a bit of small rocks on gravel however...FYI). My set is on a 2006 Tacoma which is a fairly light vehicle. If you are looking for a tire that has good street manners, but will get you where you want during weekend excursions/hunting trips this is a good choice.
