yes they howl, i like!! deep snow is no problem as long as you have the clearance. opted for 33x12.5r20, Only drawback is I find myself trying to get stuck.. high centering is my main culprit. on icy roads 4x4 helps as the open paddle-like lugs get a bit washy, but they are still far better than my stock goodyear hp's. those that disapprove of them, either can't drive, or are putting their meats through a grinder and should probably have checked their load rating/wheelspin. i have ran mtr's and kuhmo mts, which are both high ranking in my books, but they can't hold a candle to these shiners off the trail. once my cj-5 is finished, guess what's going on those rims...

I ran 33x12.5xR17 on 07 F150 great tire. Had no problems with them off road great in sand, MUD & snow. Put 18k miles still look new wear like iron! Run great on snow as long as it's not ice packed, ice packed streets are a small problem.
Slight hum around 35mph, had a pare of BFG AT K/O that were allot nosier.
Better than BFG AT K/O or
Buddy has Toyo Open Country wears way to fast & pricey (not worry extra money to replace that fast)
Great for someone serious about off roads. Buying tire for all my other vehicles (wife suv included)

good all purpose tire for the poor man or the farmer like me great for all around use on and off road.but those of you talking about swamper and others pull your head out of your butt.swamper is good in thick mud and thats it.all you are buying is a name for strictly mud purpose poor road quality.i have run with guys with every kind of tire known to man and i have seen buckshots blow swampers and your other big name tires out of competition.its 99.9% driver not tire.so boys learn how to drive

2005 Chevy Z71, 5.3L, 35x12.50R17
I have seen over 40,000 miles of commute miles. I have used these tires in the sand dunes, riverbeds, light mud, and just steep hillsides on my hunting trips. Other than the occasional slip up on wet pavement, these tires have run like a champ! I have only HAD to air down once to drive through some deep dunes, and have pulled out vehicles on a few occasions.

i have a set of 33x12.50s on my nissan titan. and they preform pretty good in the mud and on the trails. but they wear out so fast. i have 10000 miles on then and they are already over halfway gone!! and they cost an arm and a leg too! so if you want a good tire then this aint it unless u are rich as crap!

As quiet and long treadlife as an AT tire, but performs excellant offroad! Perfect for a DD that you wheel occaisionally. Only complaint is that they only make them up tp 33".
