I purchased one of these shovel / hoe combo tools a few months ago and had a chance to use it last weekend in a field of mud I got stuck in. The hoe part of it is great and it's what got my sorry ass out of that field. The angle in the handle made a difference in raking the mud away from the tire to get some bite. It's pretty strong and I like the detachable ends.

I have gotten 20,000 miles out of these tires with about 5 or 10 thousand more to go. Its done great in Colorado on the rocks and works great in the mud and on the street. I have 35's on my jeep and I'm gunna put some 35's on my truck too.
Would be worth a few extra bucks to have the option of purchasing the unit with factory installed street map or topo software chips.I have read other reviews that tell of a lot of trouble installing it yourself. Physically it is a simple matter of inserting the chip. The problem it seems is with the software and tech support.
I had a set that came with my used Honda 300 ftrx 2wd and let me tell you these tires helped a bunch especially in the water. The tread design helps you get through the thick stuff. Not to good in the sand but if you have 4wd then that should not be a problem. Just bought a 500 Rubi and i will be buying 4 vampires for mine.

I have a 1997 Honda Foreman with 28" outlaws, 2" lift kit, and itp rims. These tires will get you through anything. When you first start out on a packed surface it's rough till you get to around 15mph.

I purchased an Optima Yellow top deep cycle battery on April 16, 2008. I must say that I was extremely hesitant to drop $216 on a battery however after reading various reviews the decision was made. After using an Autozone Duralast gold for the past five years it finally wore out. The good thing was the return on trade which netted me $47 that helped offset the cost of the Optima.
Another reason was the extra stuff I have in my 99 Pontiac Bonneville. Which uses GM's 3800 V6. Including MB Quart Component Mid range and tweeters with dual crossovers, two 6x9's, an Infinity 12 inch sub, and a Sony Explode 400 Watt amp. Before installation the system was great, afterwards a MUCH improved very clean and loud system that almost jumped out of the car. It is as if the system multiplied or something. It it now louder and cleaner than ever! I highly recommend the Optima Yellow Top deep cycle battery for anyone who was debating it its worth it. G Chatman, Nashville, TN
