First set of tires that I have owned that were worth the money and did what I expected them to do.
This is now my second set that I purchased just today. First set I got a littke over 40K out of them. I have them on a '98 Dodge 2500 4+4 with a V10 in it.The truck has never been stuck as long as I have had these tires on it and I have put the thing through just about any and everything that you can imagine. Yes they do make a liitle bit of noise on the highway but get use to it if you are going to buy any good mud tire and put it on your truck.
Like I said -- Best mud tire that I have ever owned..!!!

first off anyone asking why would a vehicle manufacturerwould not out it in all vehicles, simple truth even 1 dollar worth of metal multiplied by the amount of cars produced equals more overhead. second i am no expert by far in vehicles, niether is anyone posting here no matter what they claim or how old they are(you simply can't know everything). I have 8 years hands on experience in automotive repair and diagnosis, 3 years field in diesel service, 3 years auto diesel schooling UTI plus community(again i am still not an expert). in all my experience i have found some vehicles can run efficentley or not simply by how they are designed. personally i have purchased 1 tornado for a 1998 camry 4 cyl i had already put in double plat. plugs, K&N filter new oil filters etc normal maint. i commuted from shingle springs, California to Sacramento, California for 2 months straight M-F i had a measured average of 28.4 MPG, i then after installing the tornado driving anothr 2 months saw a measured average of 30.1 MPG. i also tried city only and noticed .1 MPG incresed so nothing in the city on this car. i installed one on my 1970 ford f100 2wd 2barrel 360cu, i went from 12 MPG avg to 16 again after a K&N. so basically i noticed small if no gains highway city not much of note but as i sadi not every car has the same air flow or design so all u can do is try it and if it does not work try to use the money back agreement with the company.

I got a great deal on a set of these that were brand new. My complaint is that they wear way too fast. I lost 1/8th in about 300 miles. They were balanced perfectly and wore even, but they just were far to soft to use on the road. I put my nittos back on. They have 7000 miles and show about 1/16th of tread wear.

Look, if you're worried about tire noise - buy a mommy van with street tires. We're off-road / on road lifted 4x4 drivers. Tires should sound like a hornet's nest coming down the road. Otherwise see line 1, and buy a mommy van. Running 32x11.50x15" on a 96 bronco. They fill the wheel wells and don't rub like the older 33's I had, yep they were also Dunlop's too!:)

They look good without being over-obvious on my FJ. The only thing I'd add to it is some up-rights at the corner of the guard where the lense corner is. I've wacked some horizontal branches backing up and the branch hit the lense through the guard. Didn't break it but they were exposed. I might add a rod there at some point.

I got 4 of these in my custom buggie's roll cage. They may not be the most comfortable grabs around but they work great in the corners where I needed them. I just don't like the lack of stiffness, kind of like hanging onto a rope.

Very nice upgrade to my old POS grab handles. Good firm grip to hold onto, doesn't bend over on itself under heavy weight. BTW, nice review page on the "Grab Handle Shootout" ( http://www.offroaders.com/tech/Get-A-Grip.htm ). I agree with most of what you guys said on the various grab handles I've used over the years. Interesting how people take these things for granite.
