Interco-SS-M16-c2.jpg

After reading a lot of reviews, I went with the 285/65/R18 set for my Jeep JK. They claim on interco's website that these are 33" tires, but actually only measure 31". I was a bit dissapointed with this as now on 18" rims, I feel there is not enought tire and too much rim. I have had the tires for about 3 months now and have had them off road 3 times. Also everyone claims these are very quiet on the road. As I Off-Road maybe once a month, most of my driving is on-road and wanted a quiet tire with good off-road capabilities, and the M16's seemed to fit that bill perfectly. However, while the tire does perform great off-road, they are still quite noisy on the road. So now I need to live with a higher pitched ROAR while driving. Yes they are quieter than other agressive tires, don't buy these thinking they are "Quiet" tires. But I must say they make the vehicle look great. Very agressive look and side walls are very stylish. Tires perform well on wet roads, but I haven't driven them in the snow yet.

i got 305/70-16 on a nissan patrol (australia 4x4) with a 2inch lift they work relly well with the suspension set up i have gr8 grip well what you could expect from a muddy in the wet on road having bf goodrich muddys before which felt a little slippery in da wet and also manage to rip a couple of lugs off but not so with mickey T's gr8 tyre nice and soft ride when i demand it and great side lugs for that extra grip out of slippery ruts . seem to dig down looking for hard ground in da sand unless you realy drop the presure to bout 10 psi but be warned make sure you have bead lockers on or you will spend most of your day changing dam tyres oh and i paid $320 each aus which was actualy the cheapest out of the whole lot couldnt belive my luck

these tires are not good in the mud. the grips get clogged easily, dont be fooled by the namebrand. interco makes a lot of good mud tires but they missed big with these

had these tires on my 2004 colorado z71, b4 i sold it, for bout 20,000 miles. they wore even. tires never slipped on wet pavement. they did make the truck roll quite a bit on sharp turns. had some trouble in snow when taking off but i credit that to the truck being so light. never got stuck in snow or mud in 2wd or 4wd . they self clean decent and hardly pick up rocks on gravel roads, that i've experienced. they did kinda develop a waahh closer to the 20,000 miles but u didnt notice it unless u had the windows down. wouldnt recommend for heavy duty muddin or off roadin but decent tire for the daily driver with the occasional light duty off roading.

i keep reading about this stuff but reallly how does it work? does it break down the fuel atoms for better refinement? It just sounds like another octane booster but a lot more money. if some one can explain how it really works ill give it a try, is the catalyst made of nitro methane?! thats a burn modifier but then again so is water
