this is my second set of Revos. I had the Revo I and now I have the new Revo II. They are excellent tires and have a very smooth ride if you rotate and balence them. I do a lot of off-roading during hunting season in Georgia and they perform admorably. I did get stuck in the mud once, but my tacoma was down to the A-frame. I eventually got out with a little additional traction provided by boards. They will throw a lot of mud even through it is not advertised as a mud tire. As an AT tire, they are the best on the market.

I've driven these on the front end of my Van, it's got XL load rating of 109 i run them at 45psi all the time on the road and they have great steering responce and their wet/dry traction is outstanding. Cornering there is no slip and they steer where you aim them. the steering is a little loose better than the bridgestone d694 but not as good as pirelli atr.
Overall i bought these for alpine conditions and they run fine up at the snow, ice is always dodgy if you need chains you need chains no tyre is gonna help you there.
but light soft snow and deep snow is no different than a dirty wet gravel road they'll steer right through it no dramas!
I'd recommend this tyre it is definatly up there with the top models however it's a pity their life isn't longer. 50,000km seems about the max to me or about 2 years wear. better than the bridgestone d694!!!

i have a set of 31's on my 96 tacoma and i put it through some holes where my a arms were pushing up mud and did not even slow it down. but in sand they jerk and and dig down to bad. dont wear out quick if kept rotated regularly.

Mile Marker Hydraulics are for Heavy Recovery service, Mine is set up with a B&M Cooler for the power steering fluid but I think this is overkill. I have had many electric winches but I like my Mile Marker Hyd. the best. I think of it as a long term investment. If you trade 4x4's often and only pull stranded cars from snow drifts a $300 Smittybuilt would be fine but deep mud or long continuous pulls nothing beats a Hyd. Before you buy read up on the subject and facts, not the hype

I'm on my third set and love'em. Performance in snow has been outstanding. Living in northern Wisconsin snow and ice is everywhere and the tire performs very well. Have used them in light mud with no problems.
