Good in snow, bad with ice, awesome for any off road experience that an average off roader will ever encounter- really good for climbing. Noisy on road after a while, but nothing compared to a more agressive tire like the Kelly Safari TSR.

My own results are parallel to the poster on 9/15/11. I too was a distributor for this beginning in 10/10. I had 10 people try the product. 8 out of the 10 reported san initial spike in gas mileage performance, but after 3-4 tankfuls mileage returned to previous performance before the XFT. Do not waste your money or try to deceive your friends, relatives and acquaintances

Mud ?

Mountain roads are gravel, and little mud especially in Winter.

Working men, and work trucks need the Best all around tires to get daily Work Done and carry Supplies.

XPS Traction for Summer, and Cooper for Winter with Ice and Snow with heavy loads is not recreation, but survivial and working.

I had a set of Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2003 Silverado in 285/70/16. Only got 35k out of these. I saw on Tire Rack that these were highly rated. So I installed a set of these. I was very pleased with the performance of these tires and the wear (after 20k, still showing 13/32nd tread left out of 15/32nds), that I purchased a second set for my wife's Xterra.

I'm buying another set to replace the stock Goodyears on my 2007 Silverado.

I used this on a jeep wrangler frame 2-3 years ago. It has held up very well. no rust or cracking chipping or anything else. I would say from my experience that preparation is everything using this. If you can't or don't follow instructions eliminating the loose rust, it most likely won't work well. My only complaint is reusing from the original can. It stuck closed and I wasted some. I will reorder some of this very soon.Rust Bullet is also cheaper than a similar competitive product.

I am runnin 33x12.5x15 on a 2007 chevy colorado and I love them. Great in the mud and snow and good handling on the street. They are up there in price but well worth the money!!

Very tough, long lasting,I beat on these tires all the time. About 4 months out of the year averaging over 1000 miles off road. The other months a couple hundred. If they are siped they do much better on the snow and icy roads. For those of you complaining about those conditions you obviously bought the tire for the wrong reasons and don't know squat about tires. I rated a 9 because of flexability and harder tread. But that is the result of a longer lasting tire. If these tires are wearing out quick on you, you have a heavy foot, or something is wrong with your truck, or you are not caring for the tires, OR all of the above.

These are Awesome Tires, I have now had (7) Sets across (7) vehicles ranging from 30" to 35" on (4) differnt Jeeps (1- being a Grand Cherokee), a 4Runner and a Tahoe.

They are excelent in the Snow and Ice, the only tire my wife wants on her SUV.

I have used them on Trails around the Mid Atlantic and Pa with suprisingly great results. No I am not calling a Mountain Road a trail. I am talking about bonified trails @ Rock Run & Rausch Creek OffRoad Parks and Old Logging Trails in the Allegahnies.

The tire seems to get a bad wrap about its mud capabilities, but mud is not its focus. If you wheel hard with heavy or deep mud frequently, then you should have a mud tire its that simple.

If your are looking for an extremely versatile tire that will last, then I highly recommend them.

Have 37 x 13.5 x 20 on my 2008 Ford F-350 (4' Suspension Lift). At almost 100 lbs per tire, it does add weight to the Truck. Put almost 70000 km on them. All highway mileage. Rotated every oil change (8000 km) and kept pressure at 65 Psi. Excellent handling on highway and no pull. Have had even wear on all 4x tires. As per previous comments, ice traction is good...not like a true winter tire "BLIZZAK", but it is an M/T tire. I would highly recommend them.
