I live in louisiana and go mudding very often. I bought these tires about 3 weeks ago,and the first thing i did was hit the swamp. these tires pull very well! I Had TSL swampers before these tires and they pull almost just as good. I was very impressed!!!!

To that last guy above, I checked out DesertRat,com and I see the Toyo at it's cheapest is 219, not 209 and the rest go up from there. In fact DesertRat is expensive selling these Toyos that Ive seen. The Toyo Open Country MT's on my 07 JK came from OK Auto, 4wd & Tire and I got them for less than what DesertRat has my size listed for. Don't know the size you're running but I'll bet OK can beat that price. www.ok4wd.com
Now my impression of the Toyo Open Country MT .... Great Tire. I wanted something I'd be happy with on the commute and somethign I could take to the trails a few times a year. After doing a lot of reading (here included) I decided on the Toyo MTs. On the road they're great. Handles good, quiet for an MT with a nice little hum that sounds cool but not loud at all. Wet weather they're decent, no complaints there. In the snow (what little I got up here in northern NJ and over in the Poconos, the Toyos cut through it great with very good traction. In the mud holes over in PA, the Toyos do great. I've never been stuck in the holes I've been in. On the Rocks of Rausch Creek they gave me some great traction aired down to 18 psi and they didn't tear apart like my old Interco's did with the soft compound. The only time I've had the chance to use my Warn Winch was to put some friends out! The only reason I gave it a 9 is because of the price. As a tire, it's a great tire but in my opinion, it's overpriced in all sizes. I wanted to go taller after putting a lift on my JK but I don't have that kind of money laying around. When these wear out, I may have to compromise with a less expensive tire if I want taller. Good tire if you got the money to burn.

I bought this believing it would really work, I had high hopes, after visiting their web sites with all their claims ect.. I was very dissapointed in the product, 4-5 months after I applied the product it had cracked and the there was rust all over where I had applied it. Might work somewhere with mild weather but if you have snow with salty roads look for something else.
Yes I applied the product as indicated, not too hard to do.. I wouldn't recommend this product, I regret buying it!

I got a set of these used on some rims I bought. The previous owners said I would love them, and he was right! Great grip, traction everywhere, and so far I haven't even noticed any tread wear! Plus, they look great on the Jeep!
I know I used a lot of exclamation points but this tire gets me excited! It is simply the best MT out there!

These tires are just the ticket for rocky country, such as my hunting area. No longer do I worry going down our one path which is strewn with sharp edged rocks. Other, softer rubber tires, take quite a beating, but, not the Dirt Devils. There's now four quads in my neighbourhood with them on!
