As this is my first set of large tires (bigger than 31) I have no base to compare from, but I have enjoyed these tires and would suggest them for a daily driver. They don't clean as well in the sticky mud, but they do wonders in a trail setting. For a vehicle that gets driven to the trails and ran I can think of few better.

I have a set of 40x15.50R22 on my 02 F250 Powerstroke. Only time i been stuck with them was when i broke the front axel and had to try getting out in 2wd. I curently have bout 40,000 on them and figure bout anouther 10,000 i'll replace them. Only complaint is they spin easy on wet pavement but then agian with a modified powerstroke under the hood i turn any tire easy.

I have used the GunVault products for about ten years. I recently loaned my vehicle, with a GunVault mounted under the rear seat, to my son. When he returned the vehicle, he said "I think someone tried to break in." Indeed, someone had tried to gain access to my GunVault. They applied a great deal of weight or pressure to the top of the GunVault. They managed to rip off the rubber top and break two of the three screws that fasten the locking mechanism to the body of the GunVault, but not the third. This kept the vault locked and did NOT allow access to the contents. I am delighted that my GunVault maintained its integrity. Although I will have to replace the unit as it is damaged to the point that I cannot trust it to withstand another assault, I could not be happier with the product. Thank you GunVault for a fine product.

Been off roading for years, and these babies will keep up with swampers, with the added benefit of having great pavement behavior. Best of both worlds, cannot go wrong with these tires.

Once these tires broke in I had great traction in rocks, sand and snow. But after running them for less than a year, the PJ tread block siping wore down and the blocks themselves became huge connected lugs that offered very poor traction. I have no confidence in these tires for this coming winter in CO or for my favorite trails in Moab.
