Description: Painted Rock OHV in Mount Perry, Ohio

Painted Rock OHV

In 1985 Ralph Painter and John Butler started 4wheeling. Ralph's first rig was a 1974 Bronco, which he ended up owning 6 of. As the years went by more and more friends started joining the crew and the need for bigger vehicles developed, We where the two who took on the task of building these rigs. In 1992 J&R Fabrication was born. Until 1999 The most commonly built rigs where Scouts, Bronco's, and CJ's. Then we happened upon a Samurai, and built it, the rest of the group followed and Team Samurai was formed. As Team Samurai sought after legal places to ride in Ohio, coming up with only a few, we decided to purchase and open our own land. In 2006 Painted Rock Adventures, and Painted Rock OHV were born. We now have several privately owned properties that are only open to Painted Rock Adventures.

If you need fuel of refreshments Somerset is your last chance.

From I-70 West.

Continue straight on SR719 (directly across the bridge) Turn left across the RR tracks onto SR22/Maysville Ave. Follow SR22 West approx. 6 miles to Madison Township HWY 57. If you need fuel of refreshments Zanesville is your last chance.

We strongly suggest you DO NOT follow map quest/google, or etc directions, they will suggest you either take SR 668 (coming from the west) or they suggest you follow SR22 clear through Zanesville. (coming from the east) 668 is very hilly and curvy, with a nasty railroad crossing that you will drag your trailer on. SR22 in Zanesville is very poorly laid out and runs you though approx. 10 unnecessary traffic lights, and a very narrow underpass. For the sake of easiness please follow the above directions.
