Paragon Adventure Park

February, 2007 - The weekend of February 3rd and 4th 2007 at Paragon Adventure park was one of mixed emotion.  Great 4 wheeling in sub zero, bone chilling winds with a huge crowd in attendance but sadness and confusion on the fate of a great offroad park.  In this report Brad and Kim Reinboth wheeled their Yellow Rhinolined CJ-7 along with about a dozen other vehicles including other Jeep rigs like a few Cherokees, CJ's and YJs as well a Pinzgauer.  For those who don't know, the Pinzgauer is an Austrian made military troop transport, made for the Swiss, Austrian, and British governments.  The following few pages were shot from Brad and Kim's Sunday trail ride at Paragon.

The Pinzgauer is powered by an air cooled 4 cylinder Puch engine. The transmission is a German ZF 5 speed, coupled to a two speed transfer case. The four wheel drive and front/rear differential locks are all shift-on-the fly. This will go anywhere, through any terrain with ground clearance at about 15".
