Reviewing Lancaster Pennsylvania's Best

Kitchen Kettle Village
Intercourse, PA.
Lancaster Amish Country

Kitchen Kettle Village is a wonderfully charming walking village located in the heart of Amish Country with over 40 shops and restaurants built around the nationally celebrated Jam and Relish Kitchen.  For over 50 years, visitors have enjoyed the collection of shops filled with great foods, fine crafts and family atmosphere.  As you arrive, try the delicious Kettle Korn filling the air with a wonderful aroma then sample jellies and jams, watch fudge being rolled, go for a horse drawn carriage ride, listen as Banjo Jimmy and browse though the many shops that line the main walkway though the village.

Walking the village you'll discover a candy shop, pretzel house, bake shop,  fine artworks, pottery, basket store, delicatessen, ice cream shop, toy store, quilts, to name a few.  Aside from all the great shops, Kitchen Kettle Village offers plenty of other family friendly activities as well.  There is a Petting Zoo, watch leather being tooled, observe a working Amish kitchen, take a horse and buggy ride, and much more.

There are many local stores just outside of the village itself within walking distance.  Be sure to cross the street and walk over to Lapp's Coach Shop where you find a large selection of fine hand-crafted Amish furniture among many other country style crafts including some of the best wagons you find anywhere.   The main street is lined with great shops in historic buildings.  The Candle barn is another must-see with great crafts and you may even be lucky to catch a candle making demonstration.

The village has plenty of free parking and is open year-round Monday through Saturday, 9AM - 5PM.  It is a definite must-see for anyone visiting Lancaster County!

Enjoy our collection of photos from the village and be sure to visit for yourself!
