Strasburg Railroad  - The Strasburg Rail Road takes visitors on a 45-minute journey to Paradise; literally, to the town of Paradise as it travels past breath-taking scenery and real working Amish farms.  Passengers ride in beautifully restored, authentic passenger cars as they are pulled by a huge, coal-burning steam locomotive.  The train also has a dining car which allows visitors to eat while enjoying a scenic ride.  More about the Strasburg Railroad
Railroad Museum of PA - With more than 100 historic locomotives and railroad cars the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is a great destination for the entire family. Dutch Haven and Famous Shoo-Fly Pie! - Many travelers make Dutch Haven their first stop and for good reason.  Dutch Haven is known as "The Home of the Shoo Fly Pie" and was once the place that would have first introduced tourists to this local treat.  More about Dutch Haven

Peaceful Valley Amish Furniture has a large selection of of fine furniture and crafts handmade by local Amish and Mennonite artisans and craftsmen.  Their selection include fine quality finished and un-finished furniture, as well as in-door and outdoor items at great prices.  They have a wide variety of tables, hutches, chairs (including the popular glider rockers), chests, desks, cabinets, entertainment centers, pantry cabinets, and much more.   They are located only a few minutes west of Intercourse PA on Rt. 340 on the right-hand side heading west.

Linvilla Orchards

Linvilla Orchards in Media, PA, is one of the last working farms in the Delaware Valley. The farm has been in the Linvill family since 1914 and encompasses more than 300 acres of land devoted to farming, entertainment, education, and recreation.  The farm market has earned a well-deserved reputation for fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as for delicious home baked treats. The market features: fresh fruit and produce, freshly baked pies and bread, homemade fudge and candy apples, and homemade apple cider.



DelGrosso's Amusement Park

Located in a northern suburb of Altoona, Tipton Pennsylvania, amount the Allegheny Mountains, is a charming family amusement park called DelGrosso's Amusement Park.  Family-oriented and full of family-friendly rides, games, free admission and free parking, DelGrosso's Amusement Park has been providing great fun and entertainment to the region for nearly 70 years.


Knoebels Amusement Park

Located near Elysburg PA in a large wooded valley, Knoebels is rich in amusement history.  Knoebels has a collection of old favorite rides along with newer rides and attractions of today.
